Lane Following Assist
If a preceding vehicle and/or both lane markings are detected, and your vehicle speed is below 180 km/h, the green
indicator light will illuminate on the cluster, and the function will help center the vehicle in the lane by assisting with steering.
CAUTION
When the steering wheel is not being assisted, the green
indicator light will flash and change to white.

If the driver still does not have their hands on the steering wheel after the hands-off warning, the "Driving Assist System Off" warning message will appear and Assist will be canceled automatically.
WARNING
- The Lane Following Assist system does not operate continuously. It is the driver's responsibility to drive the vehicle safely and keep the vehicle in its lane.
- The hands-off warning message may appear late depending on road conditions. Always keep your hands on the steering wheel while driving.
- If the steering wheel is held very lightly, the hands-off warning message may appear because the system may not detect that the driver is holding the steering wheel.
- If you attach objects to the steering wheel, the hands-off warning may not function properly.
Information
- You can change the settings from the instrument cluster (User Settings) or the infotainment system (Vehicle Settings), whichever option is provided with your vehicle. For more details, refer to the "User Settings" section in Chapter 4 or the "Vehicle Settings" section in the Infotainment System Manual.
- When both lane markings are detected, the lane lines on the cluster will change from gray to white.

- If lane markings are not detected, steering assistance from Lane Following Assist may be limited depending on whether the vehicle is in front of or behind a preceding vehicle, or driving conditions.
- Even though steering is assisted by Lane Following Assist, the driver can still steer the vehicle.
- The steering wheel may feel heavier or lighter when steering is assisted by the Lane Following Assist system than when it is not.
