REPLACEMENT

  1. Remove the liftgate trim. (Refer to Liftgate - "Liftgate Trim".)
  2. Disconnect the hose from the washer nozzle (A).
  3. Disconnect the liftgate wiring harness and connectors (A).
  4. Using a flat-tip screwdriver, carefully lift the connector clips (A) upward on both sides of the liftgate (B).
  5. After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the liftgate (A).

    Tightening torque: 6.9 ~ 10.8 N·m

  6. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
