REPLACEMENT

  1. Pull the rear door glass up using the power window switch. Electric.
  2. Remove the rear door trim. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Trim")
  3. Remove the rear door outside handle. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Outside Handle")
  4. Loosen the retaining screws (A) of the rear door latch.

    Tightening torque: 7.8 ~ 10.8 N·m

  5. Disconnect the rear door outside handle rod (A).
  6. Disconnect the rear door lock connector (A).
  7. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
