The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is the number used to register your vehicle and for all legal matters related to its ownership, etc.

The number is engraved under the passenger (or driver) seat.

The Vehicle Identification Number is also located on a plate attached to the upper part of the instrument panel. The number can be easily read from outside through the windshield.
