REPLACEMENT

  1. Remove the side cowl trim. (Refer to Interior Trim - "Side Cowl Trim")
  2. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the instrument panel side cover [G] (A).
  3. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the cover opening handle (A).
  4. Remove the fuse box cover (A).
  5. Loosen the mounting bolt and screws, then remove the instrument panel lower panel (A).
  6. Disconnect the rheostat connector (A).
  7. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
