Inspection

Check the horn by connecting battery voltage to terminal 1 and the ground terminal 2. The horn should sound. If no sound is heard, replace the horn. HORN RELAY INSPECTION
  1. The horn relay is installed on the relay and fuse box printed circuit board in the engine compartment. This printed circuit board relay is only replaced as part of the relay and fuse box printed circuit board.

DEPOSIT

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the front bumper cover. (Refer to Body - "Front Bumper Cover")
  3. Remove the mounting bolt and disconnect the horn connectors (B), then remove the horn (A). (Specification)
    [Diesel / T-GDI]

REMEDY

  1. Connect the horn connector, then install the horn.
  2. Install the front bumper cover.
