Inspection

  1. Ignition switch ON.
  2. Turn on the headlamp switch.
  3. Make sure the headlamp direction changes smoothly when the headlamp leveling device switch is turned on.
  4. If it does not operate properly, check the connector and terminals to make sure they are connected. If the terminals are bent, loose, or corroded, repair them as necessary and recheck the system. If the terminal is in good condition, go to step 5.
  5. Replace the headlamp assembly and check for proper operation.

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the headlamp leveling device link. [2WD]
    [4WD]

Installation

  1. Install the headlamp leveling device.
  2. Connect the headlamp leveling device connector.
