Manual Adjustment
The front seat can be adjusted using the levers located on the outside of the seat cushion. Before driving, adjust the seat to the proper position so that you can easily reach the steering wheel, pedals, and instrument panel controls.

Forward and Backward Adjustment
To move the seat forward or backward:
1. Lift the seat slide adjustment lever and hold it.
2. Slide the seat to the desired position.
3. Release the lever and make sure the seat is locked in place. Try to move the seat forward and backward without using the lever. If the seat moves, it is not locked properly.

Seatback Angle
To recline a seatback:
1. Lean slightly forward and lift the seatback recline lever.
2. Carefully lean back against the seat and adjust the seatback to the desired position.
3. Release the lever and make sure the seatback is locked. (The lever MUST return to its original position to lock the seatback.)
Reclining Seatback
Sitting in a reclined position while the vehicle is moving can be dangerous. Even when buckled up, the protection of your restraint system (seat belts and airbags) is significantly reduced by reclining the seatback.
WARNING
NEVER ride with the seatback reclined while the vehicle is moving.
Riding with the seatback reclined increases your chance of serious or fatal injury in a collision or sudden stop.
Drivers and passengers should ALWAYS sit comfortably in their seats, properly belted, with the seatbacks in the upright position.
The seat belts must fit snugly against the hips and chest to function properly. When the seatback is reclined, the shoulder belt cannot perform its function because it will not fit snugly against your chest. Instead, it will be positioned in front of you. In a collision, you may slide under the seat belt, resulting in neck or other injuries.
The more the seatback is reclined, the greater the chance that the passenger's hips will slide under the lap belt or the passenger's neck will strike the shoulder belt.

Seat Cushion Height
To change the seat cushion height:
- Pump the lever several times to lower the seat cushion.
- Pump the lever up several times to raise the seat cushion.
