Replacement

When removing with a flat-blade screwdriver or puller, wrap the tool with protective tape to prevent damage to the components. Wear gloves to avoid cutting your hands.

   Remove the front door trim. (Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Trim")

   Press the lock pin and disconnect the main connector (A) of the outside rear view mirror.

   Loosen the mounting bolts and screws, then remove the outside rear view mirror (A).

   Tightening torque: 6.9–10.8 N·m

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.

   Make sure the connector is properly connected.

   Remove the outside rear view mirror (Refer to Mirror - "Outside Rear View Mirror").

   Remove the outside rear view mirror base (A).

   

   Be careful not to break the hook (A) when installing the outside rear view mirror base.

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.
