Repair Procedures

Replacement

Hyundai Palisade. Repair procedures
  • When installing the seat belt, take care not to damage the pretensioner.
  • Wear gloves to avoid cutting your hands.
  1. Remove the second row seat back trim [LH]. (Refer to Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Back Cover")
  2. Loosen the lower anchor bolt of the rear center seat belt (A) at the bottom of the second row seat cushion [LH].

    Torque: 39.2 – 54 N·m

  3. Remove the nut and remove the rear center seat belt retractor (A).

    Torque: 39.2 – 54 N·m

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    • Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
