Removal

Hyundai Palisade. Repair procedures
  • Be careful not to damage parts located under the vehicle (floor under cover, fuel filter, fuel tank, and canister) when lifting the vehicle with a lift. (Refer to General Information - Jack Lifting Points and Support Points)
[EPB Switch]
  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the emergency pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Emergency Pad Lower Panel")
  3. Loosen the guide screw and remove the EPB switch (A).

  4. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  5. Remove the rear wheel and tire.
  6. Remove the EPB actuator from the rear caliper. (Refer to Brake System - "Rear Disc Brake")
