Repair Procedures

Replacement

When removing the fender, wrap the screwdriver or puller with protective tape to prevent damage to the components. Wear gloves to protect your hands.

   Remove the front bumper. (Refer to Front Bumper - "Front Bumper Cover")

   Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the front bumper side mounting bracket (A).

   Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the front bumper side mounting bracket (A).

   Remove the DRL (Daytime Running Light) assembly. (Refer to Body Electrical System - "DRL (Daytime Running Light)").

   Remove the front wheel guard. (Refer to Body Side Moldings - "Front Wheel Guard")

   Remove the fender garnish. (Refer to Body Side Moldings - "Fender Garnish.")

   Remove the fender insulator (A).

   Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the front bumper side mounting bracket (A).

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.

   Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
