Repair Procedures

Inspection

Power Window Switch
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the driver's door trim panel. (Refer to Body - Front Door Trim Panel)
  3. Disconnect the power mirror switch connector from the door trim panel.
  4. Check continuity between terminals at each switch position as shown below. [Power Mirror Switch]

DEPOSIT

Driver Window Switch
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the driver side front door trim panel. (Refer to Body - "Front Door Trim Panel")
  3. Loosen the set screws.
  4. Remove the armrest from the door trim panel (A).
  5. Remove the power window switch assembly (A).
  6. Loosen the mounting screws, then remove the power window switch (A).

REMEDY

  1. Install the power window switch.
  2. Install the front door trim panel after connecting the connector.
  3. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
