Repair Procedures

REPLACEMENT

[Hood Lower Latch Assembly]
  1. Loosen the fixing clips and remove the duct (A).
  2. Disconnect the lower hood latch connector (A).
  3. Disconnect the hood latch release cable (A).
  4. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the lower latch from the hood (A).

    Tightening torque: 7.8 – 11.8 N·m

  5. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
  6. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the upper latch from the hood (A).

    Tightening torque: 7.8 – 11.8 N·m

  7. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
