DEPOSIT

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery, then wait for at least 30 seconds.
  2. Turn the steering wheel so that the front wheels face straight ahead.
  3. Remove the airbag module.
  4. Disconnect the airbag connector (A) and horn connector (B).
  5. Loosen the steering wheel lock bolt (A), then separate the steering wheel from the steering column.

    Tightening torque: 44.1 ~ 49 N·m

  6. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.

DISASSEMBLY

  1. Loosen the screw, then remove the lower cover.
  2. Disconnect the connector, then remove the wiring.
  3. Loosen the screw, then remove the remote control switch.
  4. Loosen the screw, then remove the remote control switch.
  5. For reassembly, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
