Around View Monitor Operation

Control Button

• Press the Parking/View button (1) to turn on the Around View Monitor. Press the button again to turn off the function.
• You can select other view modes by touching the view icons (2) on the Around View Monitor screen.
• When one of the infotainment system buttons (3) is pressed while the shift lever is in R (Reverse), the Around View Monitor turns off.

Front View

The front view image is displayed on the screen when the shift lever is in N (Neutral) or D (Drive) for parking assistance. The front view has top view/front view/side view modes.

Operating Conditions

• When the shift lever is changed from R (Reverse) to N (Neutral) or D (Drive), the last selected front view mode will be selected.
• The front view function will operate when the following conditions are met: - While the infotainment system screen is displayed, briefly press the Parking/View button (1) when the shift lever is in D (Drive) or N (Neutral) and the vehicle speed is below 6 mph (10 km/h).
• The automatic Around View Monitor activation function will operate when the following conditions are met: - When "Driver Assistance" > "Parking Safety" > "Automatic Around View Monitor On" is selected in the Settings menu, the front view parking assistance screen is displayed when the Parking Distance Warning alerts the driver while driving in D (Drive).

Non-Operating Conditions

• Press the Parking/View button (1) again to turn off the image.
• When the vehicle speed exceeds 6 mph (10 km/h) with the shift lever in D (Drive), the Around View Monitor turns off and the screen returns to the previous audio/video screen. Even if you drive below 6 mph (10 km/h) again, the Around View Monitor will not turn back on.
• Press one of the audio/video system buttons (3). The screen will change to the audio/video system screen.
• Shift the shift lever to P (Park). The image turns off.

Rear View

The rear view image is displayed on the screen when the shift lever is in R (Reverse) or P (Park) to assist with parking. The rear view image is available in top view/rear view/side view.

Operating Conditions

• Shift the shift lever to R (Reverse). The image appears on the screen.
• With the shift lever in P (Park), press the parking/view button (1). The image appears on the screen.

Non-Operating Conditions

• The image cannot be turned off when the shift lever is in R (Reverse).
• Shift the shift lever from R (Reverse) to P (Park). The image turns off.
• With the shift lever in P (Park) and the image on the screen, press the parking/view button (1) again.
