The Vehicle Identification Number is the number used when registering your vehicle and is applied in all legal matters relating to vehicle ownership, etc.
The number is stamped on the floor under the front passenger seat. To find the number, the floor covering must be removed.
The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is also located on a plate at the upper part of the instrument panel. The number on this plate is clearly visible from outside the vehicle through the windshield.
