Description

The windshield de-icer system prevents the wiper from freezing in winter. It consists of a de-icer in the lower part of the windshield, a switch and a relay. The Body Control Module receives the input signal from the de-icer switch, then controls the relay. Since the "L" terminal of the generator is ON, if the de-icer switch is turned on, the de-icer output is ON for 20 minutes.
