Troubleshooting

Water leaks from under the panoramic roof Worn Roof Cover Seal Replace
Excessive gap between the roof panel and the body, and incorrectly installed weatherstrip Adjust
Wind noise around the sunroof Loose or deformed deflector, body panel gaps Tighten, adjust or replace
Noise when opening/closing the panoramic roof Foreign material caught in the guide rail Check the drive cable and guide rails for foreign material.
Loose guide rails and sunroof panel Tighten
Motor runs but sunroof does not move or moves partially Foreign material caught in the guide rail Adjust or replace
Motor pinion gear incorrectly engaged with drive cable
Reduced slip force of the motor clutch
Increased sliding resistance of the sunroof, or interference of the sunroof with drive cables, weatherstrip, etc., due to incorrect sunroof adjustment
Motor noise (clutch slip noise from the motor when the sunroof is fully open or closed is not an abnormal noise) Motor pinion gear incorrectly engaged with drive cable Check the gear installation and tighten the motor.
Worn or damaged motor pinion gear bearing Replace the motor assembly
