Jeep Wrangler. Hill Descent Control (HDC) Indicator Light — If EquippedThis indicator shows when the HDC function is on. The light will remain on steadily when HDC is enabled. HDC can only be active when the transfer case is in the "4WD Low" position and vehicle speed is below 48 km/h. If these conditions are not met when attempting to use HDC, the HDC indicator will flash on and off.
