Proper service methods and repair procedures are essential for the safe and reliable operation of all vehicles, as well as the personal safety of the operator. The service procedures and descriptions in this Repair Manual contain general instructions for service and repair. Procedures, techniques, tools, and parts for service vary, and the skill level of the technician varies. It is not possible to provide advice or warnings regarding every case in this manual. Accordingly, anyone who intends to use a replacement part, service procedure, or tool not recommended by the vehicle manufacturer must first thoroughly ensure that neither their personal safety nor the safe operation of the vehicle will be compromised by the replacement part, service procedure, or tool they select.
