Removal of Front Wiper Motor

Remove the wiper arm and blade after removing the nut (B) and the wiper arm cap (A).

Remove the wiper arm and blade (A) after removing the nut.

If necessary, loosen the wiper blade lock, pull it upward, and remove the wiper blade from the inner radius of the wiper arm.

Remove the weatherstrip and the cowl top cover (A) after removing the clips.

Disconnect the wiper motor connector (A) from the wiper motor and linkage assembly.

Remove the windshield wiper motor and linkage assembly (A) after removing the 2 bolts.

While holding the wiper motor crank, remove the upper link (A) from the wiper motor crank.

CautionBefore removing the wiper motor and linkage assembly, make sure the linkage has stopped at the automatic stop position. To correctly install the wiper motor crank, make sure the linkage is aligned with the crank in a straight line and the angle of each link is correct. Be careful not to bend the linkage.

Remove the lower link (A) from the wiper motor crank.

Remove the connecting rod (A) after loosening the nut.

Remove the wiper motor (A) after loosening the screws.
