Inspection of Front Washer Motor

Connect the washer motor to the reservoir, then fill the reservoir with washer fluid.

Connect the positive (+) battery cable to terminal 1 and the negative (-) battery cable to terminal 2, respectively.

Make sure the motor operates normally and the washer motor works and sprays water from the front nozzles.

If they are not normal, replace the washer motor. [Front and Rear Washer Motors] 1. Windshield washer (+) 2. Ground 3. Rear washer (+)

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Drain less than 650 mL of washer fluid.

Check the continuity between terminals No. 1 and No. 2 at each float position. There should be continuity when the float is down. There should be no continuity when the float is up.

If the continuity is not as specified, replace the washer fluid level switch.
