  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds (A) after removing the 3 screws.
  3. Disconnect the light switch connector (A) and the wiper switch connector (B).
  4. Remove the wiper switch (A) by pressing the stopper pin (B).
  5. Remove the steering wheel. (Refer to Steering System - "Steering Column and Shaft")
  6. Remove the clock spring. (Refer to Passive Safety System - "Airbag Module")
  7. Loosen the screws on the multifunction switch assembly (A).
