  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the airbag side cover.
  3. Remove the lower hazard switch assembly (A) after loosening the screws.
  4. Disconnect the dimmer switch connector (A).
  5. Remove the dimmer rheostat (A) from the lower hazard switch assembly.
  6. Check the voltage of the new dimmer rheostat. If the light intensity of the lamps changes smoothly, without flickering, when the rheostat is turned, the rheostat can be considered normal.
