Tire Installation

Apply soap or tire lubricant to the upper and lower tire beads.

To install the lower bead, position the valve at the 5 o'clock position relative to the head on the tire changer.

Place the tire on the rim so that the lower bead contacts the rim edge past the valve (6 o'clock). Rotate the rim clockwise and press the tire at the 3 o'clock position to seat the lower bead.

After the lower bead is seated on the rim, rotate the wheel until the valve stem is at the 5 o'clock position relative to the tire changer head. Press the tire at the 3 o'clock position and rotate the wheel clockwise to seat the upper bead.

Inflate the tire until both beads seat. Tire pressure: 17 in: 2.35 kgf/cm² (34 psi); 18, 19 in: 2.3 kgf/cm² (33 psi)
