Inspection
In the IGN1 ON state, when the multifunction switch module detects that the automatic light function is turned on, the tail lamp relay output and the low beam lamp relay output are controlled according to the automatic light sensor input. During IGN1 ON, the BCM monitors the supply voltage range and reports a malfunction as soon as the supply voltage goes outside the permissible limits. When this malfunction occurs and persists, the headlamps must be turned on regardless of the sunlight level detected by the sensor. This is done to prevent the headlamps from turning off at night in the event of a malfunction.Removal
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Using a flat-tip screwdriver (-), remove the photo sensor and automatic light sensor (A) from the upper side of the airbag.
- Disconnect the automatic light connector (B).
Installation
- Connect the automatic light connector.
- Install the auto light sensor.
