Inspection

  1. The windshield defroster switch inputs can be checked using the GDS.
  2. To check the input value of the windshield defogger switch, select the "Body Control Module" menu.
  3. Select the "Current Data" menu.
  4. To perform a functional check of the SJB outputs, select "Actuation Test".

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the heater and A/C control unit. (Refer to Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning - "Heater and A/C Control Unit (FATC)")

Installation

  1. Install the heater and A/C control unit.
  2. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
