Removal

First Row Seat Location
  1. Remove the heater and A/C control unit. (Refer to Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning - "Heater and A/C Control Unit (FATC)").
  2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  3. Remove the rear door trim panel. (Refer to Body - "Rear Door Trim")
  4. Remove the power window switch assembly (A) by loosening the mounting screws (7EA).
Second Row Seats

Installation

First Row Seat Location
  1. Install the heater and A/C control unit. (Refer to Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning - "Heater and A/C Control Unit (FATC)").
  2. Install the power window switch.
  3. Install the rear door trim panel.
  4. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Second Row Seats

Inspection

First Row Seat Location
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Disconnect the heater and A/C controller connectors (A). (Refer to Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning - "Heater and A/C Control Unit (FATC)").
  3. Turn the switch on and check for continuity between the terminals. If there is no continuity, replace the seat heater switch.
  4. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  5. Remove the rear door trim panel. (Refer to Body - "Rear Door Trim")
  6. Turn the driver seat heater switch on and check for continuity between the terminals. If there is no continuity, replace the seat heater switch.
