Troubleshooting

Symptom of Malfunction Probable Cause Remedy
Pairing Failure Vehicle Bluetooth device is not in discoverable mode Enter Bluetooth pairing (search) mode
The user's phone is in Bluetooth off mode Set the user's phone to Bluetooth mode.
When attempting to pair with an incorrect Bluetooth system Check the Bluetooth device name and address (12 characters) when attempting to pair.
e.g. 000B24FFF123
Key transmission error Enter the passkey displayed on the audio screen into the phone.
5 phones are already registered. Delete paired phone list
The Bluetooth system cannot communicate with the phone. Refer to DTC List
IOP: Compatibility
No Connection The user's phone or the vehicle Bluetooth device cannot register each other's Bluetooth devices. Retry pairing
The Bluetooth system cannot communicate with the phone. Wait 1 minute, then retry the connection or restart the phone.
Refer to the FAQ sheet.
No Redial Problem with the user's phone system Press the Send button twice.
Does Not Answer Calls Problem with the user's phone system Refer to the compatibility sheet
Does not dial the number Other programs are running on the user's phone (e.g., Internet, MP3, games, etc.). Close other programs, then set to normal mode.
The Bluetooth system cannot communicate with the phone Refer to the compatibility sheet
