The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is recorded in the vehicle registration and all related legal documents.

The number is stamped on the floor under the passenger seat. To see the number, open cover (1).

The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is also stamped on a plate located at the top of the instrument panel. The number on the plate can be easily read from outside through the windshield.
