Description

The ECM (Electrochromic Inside Rearview Mirror) darkens the mirror to reduce glare from light reflected from vehicles behind at night. The front-facing sensor detects ambient brightness, and the rear-facing sensor detects the intensity of reflected light and adjusts the mirror reflectance in the range of 7~85%. However, it stops functioning when the reverse gear is engaged.
  1. The forward-facing sensor determines whether the surrounding environment is dark enough for the mirror to perform its function.
  2. The rear sensor detects glare reflected from the vehicle behind.
  3. The ECM darkens to the level determined by the rear-view sensor. When glare is no longer detected, the mirror stops functioning. 1. LED Indicator 2. ON/OFF Switch 3. Rear View Sensor 4. Front Sensor

  2. Press and hold the function control button again for more than 3 but less than 6 seconds to turn on the auto-dimming function, indicated by the green status LED turning on.
