Replacement

[5-Door, Wagon]

  1. Remove the front seat assembly. (Refer to Front Seat - "Front Seat Assembly")
  2. Remove the front seat outer shield cover. (Refer to Front Seat - Front Seat Outer Shield Cover)
  3. Remove the front seat lower shield (A).
  4. Disconnect the front seat heater connectors (A).
  5. Press the stopper pin (B) and remove the front seat headrest (A).
  6. Remove the front seatback lower shield (A).
  7. Remove the front seatback side shield (A).
  8. Remove the front seatback side shield (A).
  9. Remove the front seatback rear cover (A) in the direction indicated by the arrow.
  10. Pull out the headrest guides (A) while pressing the ends of the guides, and remove them.
  11. Remove the front seatback rear trim (A) from the front seat frame.
  12. After removing the ring clips (A) on the rear of the seatback, remove the front seatback (B).
  13. Install in the reverse order of removal.
[3-Door]
  1. Remove the front seat assembly. (Refer to Front Seat - "Front Seat Assembly")
  2. Remove the front seat outer shield cover. (Refer to Front Seat - Front Seat Outer Shield Cover)
  3. Remove the front seat inner shield cover. (Refer to Front Seat - Front Seat Inner Shield Cover)
  4. Remove the front seat lower shield (A).
  5. Disconnect the connectors (A).
  6. Remove the front seat side trim (A). [Left]
    [RH]
  7. Press the stopper pin (B) and remove the front seat headrest (A).
  8. Remove the front seatback lower shield (A).
  9. Remove the front seatback side shield (A).
  10. Remove the front seatback side shield (A).
  11. Remove the side hook-and-loop fastener (A).
  12. Remove the front seatback rear cover (A) in the direction indicated by the arrow.
  13. Pull the front seat rear trim (A) upward.
  14. Remove the front seat fold lever cable (A) in the direction indicated by the arrow. [Left]
    [RH]
  15. Pull the front seat fold lever (A).
  16. Remove the front seat fold lever cable (A).
  17. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the front seat fold lever cover (A).
  18. Pull out the headrest guides (A) while pressing the ends of the guides, and remove them.
  19. Remove the front seatback rear trim (A) from the front seat frame.
  20. After removing the ring clips (A) on the rear of the seatback, remove the front seatback (B).
  21. Install in the reverse order of removal.
