Removal

  1. Remove the ignition key from the vehicle.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait at least three minutes before starting work.
  3. Remove the side airbag cover. (Refer to Body - "Side Airbag Cover")
  4. Disconnect the PAB ON/OFF switch connector (A).
  5. Remove the PAB ON/OFF switch.

Installation

  1. Remove the ignition key from the vehicle.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait at least three minutes before starting work.
  3. Install the PAB ON/OFF switch on the side airbag cover.
  4. Connect the PAB ON/OFF switch connector.
  5. Install the side airbag cover. (Refer to Body - "Side Airbag Cover")
  6. After installing the SRSCM, check that the system operates correctly:
    • Turn the ignition ON; the SRS indicator should illuminate for about six seconds and then go off.
