Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the roof trim assembly. (Refer to Body - "Roof Trim Assembly")
  3. Disconnect the connector (A).
  4. Remove the sunroof motor (B) by removing the 3 bolts.
  5. Ground the terminals as shown in the table below and verify that the sunroof assembly operates.
  6. Perform these input tests at the connector. If any test indicates a problem, locate and repair the cause, then recheck the system. If all input tests show the sunroof motor is faulty, replace it.
    Terminal Test
    Condition    		 Test: Expected Result
    3 IG2 ON Check voltage to ground:
    Battery voltage should be present.
    1 Under any condition Check continuity to ground:
    Continuity should be present.
    6 Under any condition Check voltage to ground:
    Battery voltage should be present.
