Inspection

  1. The windshield defroster switch inputs can be checked using the GDS.
  2. To inspect the input value of the windshield de-icer switch, select the "Body Control Module" option.
  3. Select the "Current Data" option of the Smart Junction Box.
  4. To check the input value of the windshield deicer switch in forced mode, select the "Actuation Test" option of the Smart Junction Box.

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the heater and A/C controller after loosening the screws. (Refer to Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning - Heater and A/C Control.) Unit (MANUAL)") (Refer to Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning - Heater and A/C Control.) Unit (DATC)")

Installation

  1. Install the heater and A/C controller to the center panel.
  2. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
