WARNING

Always have work on the vehicle carried out by a qualified workshop, in particular work relevant to safety or work on systems important for safety, as well as maintenance work. The workshop must have the necessary knowledge and tools to carry out the required work properly. Mercedes-Benz recommends that you contact a Mercedes-Benz Service Center for this.

WARNING

Some safety systems only work while the engine is running. Therefore, do not switch off the engine while driving. Otherwise, some of your vehicle's safety systems may no longer function correctly and may not provide the intended protection for you and other persons. You also risk losing control of your vehicle and causing an accident.

WARNING

Work and modifications carried out improperly on the vehicle, such as routing cables under trim panels, can impair the function of your vehicle's safety systems. As a result, the safety systems may no longer be able to provide the intended protection for you and other persons.

You also risk losing control of your vehicle and causing an accident.

Therefore, always have work and modifications on the vehicle, for example fitting or converting components, carried out by a qualified workshop.

WARNING

Electronic components and their software may stop functioning if they are subjected to work that is not carried out correctly. Electronic systems are linked to each other by interfaces to form a network. Work on these systems may cause faults in systems that have not been modified. Such faults can significantly compromise the operating safety of the vehicle and therefore your own safety.

For this reason, always have work and modifications on electronic components carried out by a qualified workshop.
