The following note applies to all radio-controlled vehicle components and to the COMAND system: The radio-controlled vehicle components comply with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 1999/5/EC. For further information, contact a Mercedes-Benz Service Center.

The components have been approved by the vehicle manufacturer in accordance with Directive 95/54/EC relating to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of motor vehicles. Their use in your vehicle is therefore permitted provided they are used in compliance with the approval. The device does not carry any special marking.

It meets the electromagnetic compatibility requirements of the following European standards:

  • EN 55013
  • EN 55020

This guarantees that the components comply with the current electromagnetic compatibility specifications.

This means that, in principle, the components will not be disturbed by other electrical or electronic components and will not themselves be a source of interference.
