Cup holder

Important safety notes

WARNING

Do not carry objects in the cup holder while driving. Otherwise, you or other vehicle occupants could be injured by objects thrown forward in the event of an accident.

• heavy braking
• sudden change of direction
• an accident

Only use containers that fit the cup holders and that can be closed. Otherwise, drinks could spill.

Avoid hot drinks. Otherwise, you could scald yourself.

WARNING

Do not carry heavy, sharp or fragile bottles in the storage compartments.

In the event of an accident, the storage compartments would not be able to hold bottles in place. You and/or other vehicle occupants could be injured.

The storage compartments in the doors can hold bottles

• up to 1.5 l at the front
• up to 0.5 l at the rear

Bottles are not held securely and may tip over. Therefore, do not place any open containers in the storage compartments.

Cup holder in the front centre console

You can remove the cup holder and the rubber base underneath for cleaning. Clean them only with clean lukewarm water.

• Removal: release the upper parts of cup holder 1 on the driver's side and passenger's side by carefully pulling them inwards at the same time.
• Pull the cup holder upwards 2 until it can be removed.

• Installation: engage the cup holder in the side guides 2 of the storage compartment. Position the cup holder so that the corner of the upper part 1 faces forwards.
• Push the cup holder down until it locks on both the right and left sides.

Cup holder in the rear armrest

Do not sit on or lean your full weight onto the lowered armrest, as you could damage it. Only raise the rear armrest after closing the cup holder. Otherwise, you could damage the cup holder.

• Lower the rear armrest.
• Opening: press the front of cup holder 1 or 2.

Cup holder 1 or 2 extends automatically.

• Closing: push the cup holder in until it locks.
