WARNING

The mirrors do not automatically switch to the dimmed position if the light from the headlights does not reach the sensor in the interior mirror directly, for example because of the load.

Incident light may dazzle you. As a result, you would no longer be able to assess traffic conditions and could cause an accident.

The interior mirror and the driver's exterior mirror automatically switch to the dimmed position when the ignition is switched on and the light from the headlights of following vehicles reaches the sensor in the interior mirror.

The mirrors do not switch to the dimmed position when reverse gear is engaged or when the interior lighting is switched on.
