Removing and installing the front wheel arch covers

Before you can replace the front bulbs, you must remove the covers located in the front wheel arches.

Dépose et pose des caches dans les passages de roue avant

  • Removal: switch off the lighting system.
  • Turn the front wheels inward.
  • Turn rotary knob 1 by 90°.

Cover 2 is unlocked.

  • Push cover 2 downward.
  • Installation: push cover 2 upward.
  • Turn rotary knob 1 by 90°.

Cover 2 is locked.

Low beam (halogen headlights)

  • Remove the cover located in the front wheel arch.
  • Turn cap 1 counterclockwise, then remove it.
  • Turn socket 2 counterclockwise, then remove it.
  • Remove the bulb from socket 2.
  • Insert the new bulb into socket 2.
  • Install socket 2 and turn it clockwise.
  • Install cap 1 and turn it clockwise.
  • Install the cover in the front wheel arch.

High beam (halogen headlights)

Feux de route (projecteurs halogènes)

  • Switch off the lighting system.
  • Open the hood.
  • Turn cap 1 counterclockwise, then remove it.
  • Turn socket 2 counterclockwise, then remove it.
  • Remove the bulb from socket 2.
  • Insert the new bulb into socket 2.
  • Install socket 2 and turn it clockwise.
  • Install cap 1 and turn it clockwise.

Position light/parking lights (halogen headlights)

  • Switch off the lighting system.
  • Open the hood.
  • Turn cap 1 counterclockwise, then remove it.
  • Remove socket 2.
  • Remove the bulb from socket 2.
  • Insert the new bulb into socket 2.
  • Install socket 2.
  • Install cap 1 and turn it clockwise.

Turn signals (halogen headlights)

Clignotants (projecteurs halogènes)

  • Switch off the lighting system.
  • Open the hood.
  • Turn socket 1 counterclockwise, then remove it.
  • Remove the bulb from socket 1.
  • Insert the new bulb into socket 1.
  • Install socket 1 and turn it clockwise until it clicks into place.

Intersection lighting (Intelligent Light System)

  • Switch off the lighting system.
  • Open the hood.
  • Turn cap 1 counterclockwise, then remove it.
  • Turn socket 2 counterclockwise, then remove it.
  • Remove the bulb from socket 2.
  • Insert the new bulb into socket 2.
  • Install socket 2 and turn it clockwise.
  • Install cap 1 and turn it clockwise.
