WARNING

If the tread depth is insufficient, tire grip is reduced and water can no longer be channeled away. This increases the risk of aquaplaning on wet roads, especially if you drive at an unsuitable speed. There is a risk of an accident.

If the tire pressure is too high or too low, the tread may wear unevenly. Therefore, check the tread depth and the condition of the tread across the full width of every tire regularly.

Minimum tread depth:

  • Summer tires: 3 mm
  • M+S tires: 4 mm

For safety reasons, have the tires replaced before the minimum prescribed tread depth is reached.
