Vehicles equipped with a diesel particulate filter: if you mainly use the vehicle for short trips, the automatic regeneration of the diesel particulate filter may not work properly. Fuel can then accumulate in the engine oil and damage the engine. Therefore, if you frequently use your vehicle for short trips, drive for at least 20 minutes on a motorway or outside built-up areas at least every 500 km.
