Head Restraints
Position
Caution
Only drive when the head restraint is correctly adjusted.

The upper edge of the head restraint must always be level with the top of the head. If this is not possible for very tall persons, the head restraint must be set to its highest position. For very short persons, set the head restraint to its lowest position.
Adjustment
Front Seat Head Restraints

Height Adjustment
Press the release button, adjust the height, lock.

Tilt Adjustment
Move the lower edge of the head restraint forward to the desired position. The head restraint can be moved back after reaching its maximum forward position.
Rear Seat Head Restraints

Height Adjustment
Pull the head restraint up or press the latch to unlock it and lower the head restraint.
Active head restraintsIn a rear-end collision, the front parts of the active head restraints tilt slightly forward. The head is thus supported so that the risk of whiplash is reduced.
Note
Approved accessories may only be installed when the seat is not in use.
