Fuses

The markings on the new fuse must match the markings on the defective fuse.

The vehicle is equipped with three fuse boxes:

• at the front left of the engine compartment;
• in left-hand drive vehicles, inside behind the storage compartment or, in right-hand drive vehicles, behind the glove box;
• behind a cover on the left side of the luggage compartment.

Before replacing a fuse, set the corresponding switch to Off and switch off the ignition.

A defective fuse can be recognized by its burnt filament. Do not replace the fuse until the cause of the failure has been eliminated.

Some functions are protected by several fuses.

Some fuses may also be plugged in even if the corresponding function is not present.

Fuse puller

A fuse puller may be located in the fuse box in the engine compartment.

Place the fuse puller on the top or side of the different types of fuses and remove the fuse.
