RFID technology is used in some vehicles for functions such as tyre pressure monitoring and ignition lock security, as well as in convenience device connections such as radio remote controls for locking/unlocking doors and remote starting, and garage door openers. Opel vehicle RFID technology neither uses nor stores personal data, and is not linked to other Opel systems containing personal data.
