Drivetrain
All-wheel drive improves stability and handling and helps provide the best possible road holding regardless of road conditions. The system is always active and cannot be switched off.
Torque is distributed continuously between the front and rear axle wheels, depending on driving conditions. In addition, torque between the rear wheels is distributed depending on road conditions.
For optimum system performance, the vehicle's tyres should not have different degrees of wear.
If a service message is displayed in the driver information centre, the system may have limited functions (or in some cases be completely disabled, i.e. the vehicle is driven by the front wheels only).
