Radio remote control

Used to operate:

• Central locking
• Anti-theft device
• Anti-theft alarm
• Tailgate
• Power windows
• Sunroof

The range of the radio remote control is up to 50 meters. It may be reduced due to external factors.

The hazard warning lights confirm activation.

Handle the remote control with care, protect it from moisture and high temperatures, and avoid unnecessary button presses.

Malfunction

If the central locking cannot be operated using the radio remote control, this may be due to the following causes:

• range exceeded;
• battery voltage too low;
• frequent and repeated use of the radio remote control while the vehicle is out of range, which will require reprogramming;
• overload of the central locking due to too frequent operation, which interrupts the power supply for a few moments;
• interference of radio waves by more powerful external radio installations.

Basic settings

Some settings can be changed in the Settings menu of the information display. Vehicle personalization 116.

Replacing the radio remote control battery

Replace the battery as soon as the range starts to decrease.

Batteries must
not be disposed of with household waste. They must be recycled at appropriate collection points.

Folding key blade

Remove the key and open the unit. Replace the battery (type CR 2032), paying attention to the installation orientation.

Close the unit and program it.
