Accessing the tools

The tow eye is located in the boot, under the floor.

To access it:

• open the luggage compartment,
• lift the floor,
• attach the cover to the hook on the shelf bracket,
• take the tow eye out of its storage box.

General guidanceObserve the regulations in force in your country. Check that the mass of the towing vehicle is greater than that of the towed vehicle. The driver must be in the towed vehicle. Towing is prohibited on motorways and expressways. When towing with all four wheels on the ground, always use an approved tow bar. The use of ropes and straps is prohibited. If the engine of the towed vehicle is switched off, there is no brake or steering assistance.

In the following cases, you must contact roadside assistance:

• vehicle breakdown on a motorway or expressway,
• the gearbox cannot be put in neutral, the steering cannot be unlocked, or the parking brake cannot be released,
• towing with lifted wheels (two wheels on the ground),
• no approved tow bar...
