Before replacing a fuse, it is essential to identify and eliminate the cause of the failure.

  • A blown fuse can be identified by the condition of its element.

  • Use the special fuse puller to remove the fuse from its socket.
  • Always replace a blown fuse with one of the same rating.
  • Check that the numbers engraved on the box, the rating marked on the top and the tables shown below match.
